What an honor! Together with Katrin Oeding, I redesigned the old Logo of the Art Directors Club Germany. Furthermore, I designed business cards, compliment cards, a letterhead, merchandise and a style guide.

The Art Directors Club unites the best of all disciplines of creative communication and is currently the largest creative festival in the German-speaking world. With the use of the logo from its founding year, the club is returning to its roots as a member club that acts independently to find and promote excellent creative people of all creative branches – whether their focus may be on logo design, stationery, editorial design, interface or merchandise products.

The new corporate design and concept was developed by a collective of ADC members: Christian Doering, Johannes Erler, Birte Ludwig, Burkhard Müller, Katrin Oeding and Jan Spalding.

Create Meaning

During my time as Junior Art Director at Studio Oeding, it was a great pleasure to redesign the corporate identity of Create Meaning . I Also had the main coordination of the entire process.

Create Meaning is a strategy consulting company, mainly working with companies who live by their values and who are committed to making a difference in the world. The logo of Create Meaning is a dodecahedron. With its 12 surfaces, it symbolizes the multidimensionality of an entrepreneur’s decision as well as the complexities of its effect. The work of Create Meaning as a consulting firm is a mixture of science and esoteric, which is reflected in the corporate design and conveys the high-quality demands of the founder in a special way. Other special features are the forms of refining such as gold hot-foil stamping and the production of the stationery on a traditional Heidelberg press that is over 100 years old.

Goldau & Noelle

Next to our home, the forest is the perfect place to find peace. Even better when the best of both worlds come together. This is made possible by the furniture manufactory Goldau & Noelle . Through minimalist design and natural materials, the duo has already worked its way up to the „Schöner Wohnen“ reader circle. We think that the philosophy of the brand is determined by dedication and genuine craftsmanship. For the redesign, we therefore developed a color world based on nature. This is contrasted with a contemporary sanserif, made of clear geometric shapes. By eliminating superfluous decorative elements, the result is a strong communication that focuses on the brand products. I was allowed to work on this project under the direction of Marken von Freunden Agency.

Vanlife Playingcards

For all camping lovers – the Saltwater Shop in based in Hamburg commissioned me to design the first and only Vanlife card game of its kind.

Aim of the trip:

In this Vanlife quartet, every player has to collect as many quartets as possible. Hit the road with the most fantastic vans – yeah! The quartet consists of 32 playing cards, so our Vanlife Quartet can also be used for other card games.

Headache Booklet

Surfing in Germany can be as cold and shitty as it gets.

As a proud member of the Binsurfen crew, I designed the Logo and the DVD Booklet for the cold water movie Headache. The movie explores the icy northern hemisphere of Europe. Travelling Germany, Denmark, Scotland and Iceland, discovering impressive landscape and surfing locations that have never been surfed before is our way to cope with the cold.

Christmas Writing Stencil

With carefully cleaned boots the time stands before the door. Christmas comes earlier this year. With this writing-stencil every Christmas card becomes a little bit nicer and if not, then more personal.

For the production agency Romey von Malottky GmbH I designed a special Christmas card out of laser cut paper.

Berliner Schnitte

Attention here it goes sleek to the point.

A creative, dynamic branding as colorful and diverse as the fabrics should be here. The basis for this are different patterns, these are combined freely and creatively. For tranquility, there is a harmoniously coordinated color world, from summery pastel tones. The modern and timeless San Serif reinforces the brand communication.

HW-Shapes Surfshop

This was my first real project during my time at university. As a surfer and real local, I have a special connection to the Baltic surf scene. Therefore, it was a pleasure to redesign the whole corporate identity of HW-Shapes as a student.

The work of the surf shop is a mixture of handmade character and ocean love, which becomes clear in the corporate design and conveys the board-shaping attitude of the founder in a special way.
